Outside of Cinema Insomnia, you would assume Mr. Lobo is just another man, but no. He also founded the humor/media collective known as FAL Studios. America's greatest tea-toddling humorist and horror host has produced radio and stage shows (The Last Thanksgiving, Edwoodstock, Mr. Lobo's Japanese Sci-Fi Supershow I & II, Mr. Lobo's Midnight Movie Spookshow, Mr. Lobo's Cult Cinema Supershow, Planet X Presents: A Live Creature features Show with Bob Wilkins, Radio Is Dead and The Moe Better Mann Show) and penned forwards for genre-related books (Monster Movie Memories, Wood Killers). He's also appeared in several independent films. A talented cartoonist, Mr. Lobo has published comic under FAL Publishing (Nuke Nova, FAL Brand Funny Pages) and trading cards (Sac Blows). He's put together some hilarious commercials (Chinsei knives, Rad Abrams: Skateboard Attorney, Pit Popper) and contributed to magazines (Planet X, Monster News, and 62) locally and abroad. He has been covered by TV, radio, online and in print by The Sacramento Bee, The Sacramento News and Review, SF Weekly, Nine Volt, The Wave, B Monster Bulletin Film Threat, Scary Monsters Magazine, The Monster News, The Washington Post, Kensforce, About.com, SciFilm, Wormwood Chronicles, KDVS, KFJC, KFBK News Talk, and KXTV News10. Mr. Lobo not only stars in the Queen of Trash comic, but also helps write it, as well as do all the finishes! Yes, folks - Mr. Lobo is a dork. But did we mention he's an enigmatic dork?
